Our bedrooms have  retained  much  of  their  traditional character,  are  comfortable, tastefully  decorated and have either en-suite  bathrooms or private bathroom facilities were we give you bathrobes and private key access to your own bathroom which is a few meters from your bedroom. All the rooms have Freeview digital TV, hairdryers and tea/coffee  making  facilities.

Adaptors, alarm clocks, irons and umbrellas "for those rainy days" are always available for residents use on request as are high-chairs and cots for children. A public payphone on the premises and Free Internet Access Wi-Fi Hotspots can be found for guests' convenience.

The accommodation is split on 4 levels. Some rooms are down 1 flight of stairs at basement level. This former townhouse was designed around an handsome central staircase, therefore one ground floor bedroom has been retained for guests where stairs may present a barrier. We also have rooms up 1 flight of stairs and for those of you a bit more "enthusiastic" we have rooms up 2 flights of stairs.

The Adria House is traditionally decorated and furnished in keeping with the style and comfort afforded of times gone by. Ornate wallcoverings coupled with beautiful antique furniture and pieces that create an atmosphere of a different age, yet our informal staff will make every effort to help you enjoy your stay with us.

The guest house provides freshly cooked, complimentary    hearty breakfasts daily from 7.30 am - 9.30 am. For those of you with a very early start we offer a packed breakfast for you to take-away !! The New Town’s concentration of restaurants from top class dining to friendly bistros and stylish, contemporary cafe-bars are ideal places for a cosmopolitan selection of lunches and evening meals.

We would like to make you aware that in these quiet and peaceful premises which are Not Licensed to sell alcohol, we follow a Full No Smoking Policy in accordance to Scottish Law and require that you Do Not smoke in any part of the building. There is also a naked flame and candle usage ban.
