Our bedrooms have retained much of their traditional character, are comfortable, tastefully decorated and have either en-suite bathrooms or private bathroom facilities where we give you bathrobes and private key access to your own bathroom a few meters away from your bedroom.

 

We provide a laptop for free internet access in the guests TV lounge.

All rooms have:

The Adria House is traditionally decorated and furnished in keeping with the style of times gone by. Classical wallcoverings coupled with period furniture that create an atmosphere of a different age, yet we and our informal staff will make every effort to help you enjoy Edinburgh and your stay with us.

The accommodation is split on 2 levels and no two rooms are the same. They vary in size, decor, bed configuration and bathroom facilities. Some rooms are up 1 flight of stairs and for those of you a bit more "enthusiastic" we have rooms up 2 flights of stairs.

 

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.

Luggage storage

Should guests have an early morning arrival in Edinburgh, luggage may be left with staff for storage anytime from 8.00am onwards.

 

You may wish to head-off into town straight away and not waste time until rooms have been prepared for reallocation and Check-in. Alternatively, guests may wish to rest after a long journey in the Guest's Lounge and wait until a room is made available.

On the day of departure, we request that you vacate your rooms by 11.00am but, if you are planning to squeeze in an extra couple of hours sightseeing and shopping before leaving Edinburgh, we will do our best to accommodate your left luggage until your departure.

Fully Cooked Complimentary Breakfast

The guest house provides freshly cooked, complimentary hearty breakfasts daily from 7.30 am - 9.30 am. For those of you with a very early start we offer a packed breakfast for you to take-away !!

 

The New Town’s concentration of restaurants from top class dining to friendly bistros and stylish, contemporary cafe-bars are ideal places for a cosmopolitan selection of lunches and evening meals.
